On May 20, the fourth edition of the Transylvania 100k ultramarathon was held. It’s a mountain ultra which cross beautiful and mysterious regions of Bucegi mountains, Romania, starting and finishing at Dracula’s Castle. Over 700 runners finished the races (100k, 50k, 30k, 20k) despite the harsh conditions – strong winds, thick fog, heavy rain, hail, mud, 45° ascents but with beautiful nature. According to the participants the route was actually longer, the course markings were not good and many people have lost. The aid stations were not well prepared.
